BANNED FOR LIFE COPYRIGHT AND CONTENT COMPLAINTS
Effective Date: July 14, 2026
Last Updated: July 14, 2026
This page explains how to notify Banned for Life about content you believe is unlawful or violates your rights, including copyright, trademark, defamation, harassment, or the disclosure of private information. It is operated by Kontracts Corp., a Delaware corporation doing business as Banned for Life (“BFL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
#1. How to Submit a Complaint
The fastest way to report a specific report, comment, photograph, or profile is the in-product flag feature, which routes your report to our moderation queue with the relevant content already identified.
You may also submit a written complaint through our complaint intake, which is delivered to us and stored for handling:
- Complaint intake form / endpoint: submit at https://bannedforlife.app/legal/copyright.html using the form below, which delivers your complaint to our team.
- Email: bannedforlifeapp@gmail.com
Please send only information you are authorized to disclose. Do not include unnecessary personal information about yourself or others.
#2. What to Include
To help us evaluate and act on your complaint, please provide:
- the exact URL or content identifier of each item at issue;
- the specific statement, image, or material you are complaining about;
- the category of your complaint (for example, copyright, trademark, defamatory statement, harassment, or private information);
- a clear explanation of why the content is unlawful or violates your rights;
- for a copyright or trademark complaint, identification of the work or mark you own or are authorized to represent, and the basis for your rights;
- your name, email address, and relationship to the matter; and
- any supporting information that will help us assess the complaint.
Submitting a complaint does not guarantee that content will be removed. We evaluate complaints under our Posting Guidelines, our Terms of Service, and applicable law, and we may ask you for additional information.
#3. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on the Service copies or uses a work in which you hold copyright without authorization, tell us using the channels above and include the information in Section 2. Where appropriate, we may remove or restrict the content, contact the person who submitted it, and take action against accounts associated with repeated infringement.
We may forward the substance of your complaint, including the material you identify, to the person who submitted the challenged content so that they can respond. We will consider a response, including an assertion that the use is authorized or otherwise lawful, before deciding what action to take.
#4. Trademark, Defamation, Privacy, and Other Complaints
For a trademark concern, tell us the mark, your rights, and how the content creates confusion or misuses the mark. For a complaint that content is false and harmful, identify the specific statement and explain why it is false. For a complaint that content discloses private or sensitive information, identify the information and your relationship to it. We may restrict, label, remove, or preserve content, or ask for clarification, depending on the circumstances.
#5. Counter-Statements and Responses
If your content was removed or restricted because of a complaint, you may respond through the channels above. Explain why you believe the content is lawful and that you have the rights necessary to post it. We may share the substance of your response with the complaining party, subject to safety, privacy, and legal considerations.
#6. Repeat Infringers and Misuse
We may restrict or terminate accounts associated with repeated intellectual-property violations or repeated misuse of the complaint process, including knowingly false complaints. Filing a complaint that misrepresents the facts may have legal consequences for the person filing it.
#7. Good-Faith Handling; No Legal Advice
We review complaints in good faith and act as we consider appropriate under our policies and applicable law. This page describes an operational process for handling complaints. It is not legal advice, does not create any contractual obligation to reach a particular outcome, and does not waive any right or defense available to BFL or to any user.
